The "New" Answer for Constipation

How Does 3A Magnesia Compare to Other
Most herbal products are stimulant laxatives which work by irritating the colon. Over time, irritant laxatives can create a dependency.
Fiber can help increase the size of stool, but many people find increased fiber ineffective for improving bowel movements or frequency. Others suffer from bloating or discomfort when using higher doses of fiber, especially if the dose is increased too fast. (Fiber has many other health benefits, but it isn't always the most effective for improving bowel function).
3A Magnesia is a special form of magnesium that has up to 4 times
more surface area than regular magnesium. This "fluffy magnesium" draws water into the colon like a sponge, softening stools and allowing daily, comfortable elimination. It does
not create dependency and studies have shown it to be gentle and effective.
Suggested Dose for Daily Regularity: Take 6 tabs with water before bed for the first 3 days. Reduce intake daily by one tablet until personal comfort level is reached.
For Colon Cleansing: Take 6 tablets with water before bed for 7 consecutive days.
Dr. Myatt's Comment: 3A Magnesia is my current best recommendation for sluggish bowels and constipation. I find it to work more reliably for most people and with little or no discomfort. Occasionally, one may need to go higher than the starting 6 tabs to begin, but maintenance doses are always much lower. (These are very small, easy-to-take tablets).
